Which appliances do you repair at home?
Our call-out service covers washing machines, washer dryers, tumble dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers, ovens, extractor hoods and hobs. Contact us with your model to discuss the repair.
How much does a home repair cost?
For addresses in Exeter, call-out and diagnosis cost £49. Repair labour is £49, plus any replacement parts required. Call-out and repair labour are separate charges. All prices include VAT.
Is there a second call-out charge if you order a part?
No. There is no additional call-out charge for returning to fit a part ordered for your repair.
What does a workshop assessment cost?
There is a £10 inspection charge for small appliances and £20 for large appliances. The charge is deducted from the final bill if you go ahead with the repair.
Where do you cover?
We cover Exeter and the surrounding area, generally within approximately five miles of the city. Charges outside Exeter vary with distance; please ask for a price.
Can I bring a coffee machine or vacuum cleaner to your shop?
Yes. Our workshop assesses coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens and many other appliances. Please check with us first about your model and what to bring.
Do you work with landlords and letting agents?
Yes. We regularly work with landlords, letting agents and property managers. Contact us to discuss tenant access, the repair and invoicing.
Are your engineers insured?
Yes. Our engineers are fully insured and DBS checked. C & D Appliances is also a member of the Devon Trading Standards Buy With Confidence scheme.
What are your opening hours?
The shop opens Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30 and Saturday 09:00–13:00. We are closed on Sundays.
